Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

For the best part of 200 years, the stark ruins of Eilean Donan lay neglected, abandoned and open to the elements, until Lt Colonel John Macrae-Gilstrap bought the island in 1911. Along with his Clerk of Works, Farquar Macrae, he dedicated the next 20 years of his life to the reconstruction of Eilean Donan, restoring her to her former glory. The castle was rebuilt according to the surviving ground plan of earlier phases and was formally completed in the July of 1932.

We visited the castle on our trip to Scotland in 2016. I captured this image of a Scotish bagpiper dressed in traditional clothing.

About Janis Connell

Janis Connell

After retiring from Corporate America in 2014, I have been remaking myself into an mosaic artist, fine art photographer, and traveler. I cherish our US National Parks (and all our public lands) and I have a goal to visit all 62 of them and I'm over halfway there having visited 33 (our dog has been to 22 parks!). I love to experience nature via hiking, biking, and especially from my portable hammock! I have learned over time that I can do things I never thought would be possible. Through determination and persistence, I've become a fine art photographer, ridden my bike across Iowa (RAGBRAI), hiked the Grand Canyon several times, and summited Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. If you'd told me 20 years ago that these things were going to...
